here a little edit I put together of some of the activities that transpired over the past couple days. I don't think I was there for every single hit but defiantley for most of them. I am most bummed about missing Taylors cork 7, I actually cut in his 3 with the end of his 7. Anyways it was an honor to watch this go down.

With the 2* FWT Qualifier Stop Kappl/Paznaun, the season of the Austrian OPEN FACES Freeride Series 2024 is starting! From the “secret spot” to one of the most popular freeride destinations in the scene – “Kapplaska” with its countless freeride opportunities once again provides the stage for the first stop of the OPEN FACES Freeride Series. The first points of the Austrian Qualifier Series will be awarded at the 2* Freeride World Tour Qualifier Contest.

The first Open Faces qualifier competition of the season started with prime conditions and a triple victory for Austria in the men’s ski category. The freeride hotspot Kappl / Paznaun served as the venue for an OPEN FACES stop for the 11th time. The freeriders met at the “Stoamandl” for the 2* FWT Qualifier and “Kapplaska” has once again lived up to its name. The rider field with 71 international starters promised to be a show.

The jury's evaluations are tight, which is evident, in the Ski Women category. Hannah Gruber (ITA), ski instructor and model from Italy, is able to prevail here with 2 safe jumps and a quick pace. Only three tenths separate second and third place. Emma Ledet (DEN) narrowly has to admit defeat to the Austrian Amelie Rosa Deniffel, who starts the race with a great choice of lines and a good dose of self-confidence.
It is also close for the Ski Men - only 5 points separate places 1-5. At the...

The Freeride Junior World Championships (FJWC) returned to Kappl, Austria, Wednesday, 24th January. With junior world titles on the line, competitors held nothing back, and the talented field delivered a top-class display of technical freeriding.

The FWT Junior World Championship (FWT JWC) is the highlight of the freeride juniors on ski and snowboard. On January 20th to 26th 2023, the annual highlight of the season takes place in Kappl-Paznaun, Austria.
In challenging runs, the junior athletes show spectacular jumps and drops in the terrain as well as challenging lines through the deep snow.
The future of Freeriding looks to be in safe hands with a continually impressive level of riding from Junior athletes.
