Red Bull Bassline 2023 - Vienna (AUT) - Best Of Action

The 4th edition of the Red Bull Bassline returned to Vienna for the third time on October 20th and is the start of a great week of tennis in Vienna and a good preparation for the ATP tournament early next week. This event turned the tennis scene upside down and the familiar "Quiet please" became a clear "No, thanks"! Six of the world's best players, Andrey Rublev (RUS), Alexander Zverev (GER), Frances Tiafoe (USA), Fabian Marozsan (HUN) and the two local heroes Dominic Thiem and Jurij Rodionov, competed against each other in this fast-paced tournament. The match was played in a unique tie-break format, where a player had to reach 5 points to win the set. The 1.500 fans were carried away by the pulsating music and experienced a tennis tournament of a different kind. Before and during the rallies, DJ Christoph Ott heated up the crowd in the sold-out tennis tent on the grounds of the Vienna Ice Skating Club.
