Here's a short Film of most of the events held by Crankworx 2012.
I decided to Take Photo's as well as Filming to help promote Crankworx because I think Crankworx is an amazing event which I hope will continue to take place here in Whistler!

Crankworx Canadian Open Enduro - Flyin’ Brian Lopes completed five stages in 25:42.74; beating Nicolas Vouilloz (FRA) who came in second at 25:54.18; and snagging the title from defending champion Remy Absalon (FRA) who completed in 26:09.78. Anne Caroline Chausson (FRA) successfully defended her title in the Canadian Open Enduro, winning the five-stage, rally-style epic with a time of 28:55.00.

Crankworx Giant Slalom. A redesign of the course and a new format put some of the world’s best mountain bikers through the paces today at the Giant Slalom, presented by Giant Bicycles. Thomas Slavik had the fastest combined time of 1:20.25 in the Pro Men’s category while Jill Kintner took first place in the Pro Women’s category and was crowned Queen of Kokanee Crankworx.

Benny Phillips (AUS) stormed the Teva Best Trick Challenge to take the win in Session One with a 360 Double Downside Whip. Cam Zink (USA), won Session Two at the Teva Best Trick Showdown with a risky Front Flip off the final Kokanee Cabin step down feature.

The Jeep® Air Downhill took over the Whistler Mountain Bike Park with over 344 competitors ripping down the most famous DH course in the world, A-Line. Brian Lopes was dethroned from his reign as king with South Africa’s Andrew Neethling taking over top spot ending Lopes’ streak of five wins in a row, scoring the fastest time of the day at 4:13.34. In the women’s category it was France’s AC Chausson taking home top spot with a time of 4:33.16
