In 2023 the Vanora ENGADINWIND by Dakine in Silvaplana, Switzerland plays host to the first ever iQ FOiL U21 World Championships, showcasing the class of windsurfing that was chosen to be part of the Olympic program in Paris 2024.
80 riders from 18 nations will race for the U21 World Champion title in the iQ FOiL windsurfing category. In the beautiful landscape the riders started with the slalom showing their best at beautiful conditions in Silvaplana, Switzerland. After the 1st racing day Max Beaman from Great Britain is leading the men’s category and Adi Millo from Israel the women’s category.
Following the success of the European Championships held here in 2020, this return to Silvaplana promises another week of electrifying racing action. Today was day 1 of racing and showed us why we come to Silvaplana!
