As the Vans snowboard family assembled in Mayrhofen, the sun shone and snowboarders from across Europe dropped into the Zillertal valley for the penultimate stop on 2015’s Vans Hi-Standard snowboard series. While the weather didn’t hold, the atmosphere did, seeing some of the continent’s finest registering for the main event and good vibes on the hill.

February 2012, after shooting a lot in Austria, France and Switzerland the WWWF crew was looking for something different. A different country with different snow, different people and a different culture. So we decided to split in 2 crews. One made of Gérome Mathieu, Valérian Ducourtil, Johann Baisamy, Germain Ozer and Serge decided to fly to Turkey, in the town of Uludag. Gérome Mathieu and Valérian Ducourtil joined Serge at his home spot of Leysin to shoot for 3 days before going home for christmas. Christian Weber joined the crew for some jib spots but unfortunately due to the rainy conditions, the sessions were not as good as expected. Anyway we managed to shoot some stuff to do a little edit for the end of 2011.

In november we spent a few days in switzerland to shred the park of Les Diablerets. The jumps were not too big but good enough to get back in the game and it was a good warm up session for the legs of everybody! The riders in this video are Tyler Chorlton, Gérome Mathieu, Valérian Ducourtil and Christian Weber.

The snow is here! So we headed to Val D'Isère in France to shoot some powder. At the end there was too much snow but the crew made of Tyler Chorlton, Gérome Mathieu, Valérian Ducourtil and Serge with the photographers Germain Ozer and Vanessa Andrieux had a really good time there! Our globetrotting French Snowboard team spent last winter traveling the world looking for the best conditions to film for all their upcoming video parts. We managed to tag along and bagged some rad footage for ourselves in the process.
