After 9 contests across the Alps, the QParks Tour 2015/16 ended with a big bang at the Blue Tomato Roof Battle at the Superpark Dachstein. Jacco Bos from the Netherlands and Kaja Verdnik from Slovenia both laid down an impressive performance and managed to win in their categories, men and women. On 16th January 2016 the third QParks Tour Stop, the Battle ROJal, took place at Snowpark Schöneben in South Tyrol. After a journey that took 6 months, 8100 kilometers, 4 countries, 40.000 euros in prize money and an infinite number of gas station coffee and sandwiches: the QParks Snowboard Tour came to its grande finale at Superpark Dachstein on Saturday the 19th of April to crown the champions of the 2013/14 season. The QParks Snowboard Tour returned to Superpark Planai on Saturday the 21st of December for an early Christmas treat for mayn shredders. With the course shaped to near perfection and the sun blaring down on the mountain, it felt more like a spring season shred than a depths of winter contest. At the O’Neill Roof Battle last Saturday at the Superpark Dachstein, the best riders of the QParks Snowboard Tour battled for the overall Tour victory. In a dramatic final on the rail line, the riders were once again showing off with awesome tricks.
