While there was a good amount of hammers being thrown down on the park jumps last spring, there were an equal amount of hammers at the Northstar halfpipe. With Danny Davis's handplants and 1080′s, Mikkel Bang's signature stylish airs, and Peetu Piiroinen's and Christian Haller's crazy method variations, there was no shortage of things to drop your jaw over.

Usually spring is the time when most riders start to hang up their gear, but for riders like Mark McMorris, Mikkel Bang, Seppe Smits, Roope Tonteri, Werni Stock, Marko Grilc, and Peetu Piiroinen, it's the time to start laying down the hammers.
