After the release of our movie Levity last month, we've decided to work on 4 different full parts from the main riders of the movie. As the movie has been edited like a story, it makes sense for us to release these parts separately. We had a couple of funny days riding up the Hintertux glacier a few days ago. We were a solid crew of stupid snowboarders including Danny Larsen, Tyler Chorlton, Valérian Ducourtil, Gérome Mathieu, Ethan Morgan, Tobi Strauss and Gulli Gudmundsson. February 2012, after shooting a lot in Austria, France and Switzerland the WWWF crew was looking for something different. A different country with different snow, different people and a different culture. So we decided to split in 2 crews. One made of Gérome Mathieu, Valérian Ducourtil, Johann Baisamy, Germain Ozer and Serge decided to fly to Turkey, in the town of Uludag. End of January we spent 10 days in Mayrhofen. The conditions were perfect so we spent our time riding fresh pow in the forest and nice kickers in the sun! And of course we stopped for a few good austrian style après ski. We were a lot of people there so we had to split in 2 different crews: the Nike crew with Gérome Mathieu, Ethan Morgan, Johann Baisamy and Kevin Backstrom and the Vans crew with Tyler Chorlton, Valérian Ducourtil, Tobi Strauss and Beckna. Gérome Mathieu and Valérian Ducourtil joined Serge at his home spot of Leysin to shoot for 3 days before going home for christmas. Christian Weber joined the crew for some jib spots but unfortunately due to the rainy conditions, the sessions were not as good as expected. Anyway we managed to shoot some stuff to do a little edit for the end of 2011.

In november we spent a few days in switzerland to shred the park of Les Diablerets. The jumps were not too big but good enough to get back in the game and it was a good warm up session for the legs of everybody! The riders in this video are Tyler Chorlton, Gérome Mathieu, Valérian Ducourtil and Christian Weber.

The snow is here! So we headed to Val D'Isère in France to shoot some powder. At the end there was too much snow but the crew made of Tyler Chorlton, Gérome Mathieu, Valérian Ducourtil and Serge with the photographers Germain Ozer and Vanessa Andrieux had a really good time there! After a successful and busy season the Nike snowboard team hit up Norway for a fun and relaxing season ending session. Traveling in traditional fishing boats the team arrived in beautiful Strandafjellet. Benefiting from the midnight sun in Norway and with almost no sleep the team got going on a 3AM shred mission to guinea pig the jumps. See how it all went in Episode 1 of the Nike Vapen Sessions.

The 4Star TTR Nissan Stomp-It went down this weekend in Modena, Italy where Gerome Mathieu (FRA) took home his first 4Star TTR title. Mathieu took home 8000 USD and 500 TTR ranking points for his first place win, local Italian rookie Marco Grigis took second place and third went to Jaakko Ruha (FIN)
