After going from no snow to a 29″ base and a 81″ season total in what seemed like a matter of days, Jackson Hole opened its lifts to 3,000 vertical feet of skiing this past weekend under bluebird skies. Opening day at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort this past Saturday, November 27th is one for the books! Never in the history of JHMR has so much snow fallen to date. With a record 130" of total season snowfall and the current snow depth at 51" came a record opening of the entire mountain that was wall to wall with all lifts running.
