Mammut opens up new windows to the mountains of the world. #project360 opens the third dimension of digital alpine cartography and makes it possible for users to experience the legend of the most famous mountains up close on the screen. Viewers can use computers or smartphones to follow the alpinists on the world’s mountains, selecting their viewing angles independently. By the end of the year about 30 tours will be online.

1 mois avant les X Games on s'est dit: "Tiens, et si on faisait de la 3D pour les X Games ?"...
Après avoir scruté le net pour savoir comment faire, emprunté du matos à droite et à gauche, bricolé avec ce qu'on avait sous la main. L'edit a été projeté sur des télés 3D aux X Games, sur notre stand, mais on s'est aussi rappelé qu'il fallait faire quelque chose pour ceux qui n'avaient pas pu venir.
Alors voilà le résultat : un petit edit 3D sans prétention fait avec zéro budget!

This week's Almost Live goes behind the scenes of TGR's Light the Wick 3D shoot at Stevens Pass with Sammy Carlson, John Spriggs and Byron Wells. and explores what went into making it happen. As Spriggs and Wells describe the camera set up, "It has triggers and and two REDs set up. It looks like two eyes shooting out...it pretty much just look like WALL-E."
