Swatch Proteam surfer Courtney Conlogue celebrated her 21st birthday today at Le Penon, Seignosse by winning the SWATCH GIRLS PRO FRANCE for the second consecutive year, picking up USD$8,000.00 for her efforts and a big confidence boost heading into a dramatic ASP Women's World Title showdown.

SWATCH GIRLS PRO FRANCE 2013 DAY 3 - Despite the tricky conditions, Alessa Quizon put on a commanding performance including an 'excellent' 9-point-ride for some electric backhand surfing. Coco Ho one of the favorites got eliminated. "Yeah I'm pretty disappointed to lose out there," admitted Coco.

While the event favorite Courtney Conlogue (USA) was in fine form, some big names fell victim to the tough conditions of the Le Penon beach. With local favorite and Swatch Pro Team surfer Pauline Ado (FRA) bowing out, along with Sage Erickson (USA), the event is already bringing surprises. Swatch Pro Team surfer and ASP World No.3 Courtney Conlogue treated the beach crowd to a near-perfect display in her debut heat, scoring a total of 19.05 out of a possible 20, including a perfect 10 for her...

Finally, the SWATCH GIRLS PRO FRANCE 2013 kicked off in beautiful Seignosse Hossegor, France. Blue skies, aquamarine seas and offshore winds welcomed the athletes on day one. With the completion of the Round of 60, there are only 48 surfers left in the draw, with the top seeds – including the Swatch Proteam trio-set to enter the fray next. Top 16 surfer Rebecca Woodsposting made the day's highest wave score of 8.75 in Round 1.
