The imposing Verzasca Dam in the Ascona-Locarno region in Switzerland is set to host the unique multi-pitch climbing competition format with world-class athletes!
The Red Bull Dual Ascent 2024 is the third edition of the world's first head-to-head multi-pitch climbing competition on artificial routes and will take place from October 30th – November 2nd 2024.
Ten mixed teams of Olympic champions, world champions in various climbing disciplines, recordsetters and up-and-coming talent battle head-to-head on parallel 180m routes. Among them are: Alberto Gines Lopez (ESP), the Austrian duo Jessica Pilz and Jakob Schubert (Olympic Champion Boulder & Lead 2024) or Petra Klingler (SUI).
