Local legend Reto Kestenholz invited his friends Simon Abt, Dionis Gartwyl and Luca Ramelli as well as the austrian/german crew with Dave Hofer, Jonel Fricke and Fabian Wolfsgruber to the Snowpark Gstaad. The 8th stop of the QParks Tour went down in typically Swiss fashion. Not a minute late, perfect weather and a backdrop that looked like the Toblerone wrapper. Snowpark Gstaad had also teamed up with the Audi Snowboard Series which saw some of Switzerland’s stellar snowboarders descend on the park for a day of competition. Last thursday the seasonal film- and photo shooting at the Snowpark Waidring Steinplatte took place. Snowboarders liek Georg Ischepp, Max Kaffl and Daniel Lutz already waited longingly for this date. On January 25th the Snowpark Gstaad was proud host of the very first Girls Shred Session in Switzerland. To motivate more girls to get involved in the freestyle sport, this day was all about female park riding.
