Innsbruck (AUT) kicks off the winter season with world-class Street Skiing at Snowfest 2024
From November 22 to 24, Innsbruck transforms into a hub of world-class freestyle action for the third edition of Snowfest Innsbruck. Bringing together 50 elite snowboarders and freeskiers from 23 countries, this event marks the second stop of the 2024 Rock A Rail Ski & Snowboard Tour. Set in the heart of Innsbruck between the Tiroler Landestheater and the historic Hofburg, and framed by the snow-dusted Nordkette mountains, Snowfest offers a breathtaking alpine-urban atmosphere. The event features the massive Rock A Rail Cage, a 43-meter-long, 17-meter-wide, and 7.5-meter-high structure designed for creative and daring tricks.
In the Rock A Rail ski competition, Ryan Stevenson (USA) stole the show in the men’s event with a dazzling array of tricks, earning him a well-deserved victory. Tucker Fitzsimons (USA) impressed in his debut appearance, taking second place, while Bendik Rasmussen (NOR) secured third. In the women’s event, Tereza Korabova (CZE) showcased her creativity on the new rail setup to claim the top spot. Alais Develay (FRA) took second, enjoying both the setup and camaraderie, while María Estuu (ESP) completed the podium in third.
