Freestyle snowboard elite celebrates start of winter season with stunning night finals at Snowfest 2024 in Innsbruck (AUT)
From November 22 to 24, Innsbruck transformed into a hub of world-class freestyle action for the third edition of Snowfest Innsbruck. In the snowboard competition, Moritz Amsuess (AUT) electrified his hometown crowd in Innsbruck with standout tricks like a Cab 270 Pretzel out and a 50-50 to backside lipslide, earning him first place in the men’s event. Nate Haust (USA) secured second with unreal combos such as a Frontboard 270 out to boardslide, while Peter Ershov (RUS) finished third. In the women’s competition, Paula Benito (ESP) reclaimed her crown with a stunning performance, landing stylish tricks like a Front Blunt Indy and Frontside 180 Switch 50-50 half cab out to take first place. Anne-Sophie Lechon (BEL) claimed second with a solid Frontboard 270 out, while Austria’s Selin Lakatha rounded out the podium in third.
