It's huge, it's unique, it's mind-boggling: QParks' special obstacle THE X in Sölden! In May 2015, project manager Sven Toller and AREA 47 park designer Stefan Morocutti joined forces to create an enormous obstacle attracting both national and international freeski pros. Take a look behind the setup of THE X and see riders like Lukas Müllauer, Fabian Kettner, Johannes Rohrmoser, Markus Androsch, Sam Baumgartner, Dominik Wilfling, Josh Absenger and Fabian Braitsch in all their style and glory....

Bine Zalohar, Daniel Pult and some local boys came together in the Almdudler Snowpark Sölden to check out the set up, which was finihed by Parkdesigner Christoph Schöpf the days before. As the end of the season slowly ticking down with the hands of the clock, it was decided that it was time for a spring session on the kickers at the Vans Penken Park Mayrhofen on the 8th of March. With the snow as soft as velvet underfoot, the riders could send it to the bottom of the landings without a worry in the world before they turned their attention to the new jib ditch that was built this season.
