In August 2016, The North Face Freeski Open will return to New Zealand as The North Face Frontier, a Freeride World Tour sanctioned event, open to both skiers and snowboarders. The host venue for this year’s event will be Queenstown's The Remarkables ski area, home to some of the best big mountain terrain in the Southern Hemisphere.
