Geoff "Gully" Gulevich (CAN) was a man on a mission to take over the Suzuki Nine Knights MTB 2014 castle in Livigno Italy, stomping a gnarly backflip over the step up, huge airs on the hip and flipping from the drop tower on a dh bike. Super motivated, he was up at the crack of dawn for the freeride sessions on Mottolino Fun Mountain and was more than happy when he earned himself the "Ruler of the Week" title.

After the good conditions on Friday, the riders also found good weather, sunshine and dry tracks on the final day. The prolog took place under the blazing sun where competitors tackled the man-made obstacles in the scorching heat. Fans flocked to the prolog as if on cloud nine, jubilant to see the city reawaken after a two year slumber from the two stroke perfume, smoking tires, open throttles - the atmosphere was buzzing. Alfredo Gomez won the return of the legendary Prolog. Smooth, fluid flow and crowd pleasing jumps delivered some high speed laps.
