The final 2016 tour stop of the successful In-City Athletics meeting, the Golden Fly Series was hosted on Thursday in Schaan in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is the world’s sixth smallest country and boasts just 40,000 inhabitants. The "FlySwat" - the world’s largest mobile certified athletics facility, built especially for the purpose – was celebrating its 10th Tour Stop.

Saturday evening, Innsbruck saw a veritable firework display of athletic performance at the kick-off of the Golden Fly Series. With its best start list since the creation of this well-loved in-city event, the show was as exciting as could be anticipated! Last night’s 13th International Golden Roof Challenge played out before the Golden Roof in Innsbruck, the home of the Golden Fly Series. A highlight in the athletics season, this elite in-city event inspired thousands of fans in the inner city.
