The SWATCH GIRLS PRO CHINA at Hainan Island ended with excellent performances from the girls and crowning Kelia Moniz (HAW) as the new World Longboarding Champion. The video wraps up the best shots and slomos during the competition.

Lay Day at the event, Kelia Moniz (HAW) and a few girls made a culture trip. They went to a little Chinese village and checked out the local culture. The girls experienced what they do, what they eat and how they live. The girls were really happy about this opportunity and enjoyed the day.

Kelia Moniz is the new ASP Women’s Longboard World Champion after winning the SWATCH GIRLS PRO China 2012 hosted by Wanning in 2-3ft (shoulder high) surf. In a repeat of last year’s final, Kelia faced off against Australia’s Chelsea Williams, the defending event champion, and promptly set about a commanding display of smooth, radical longboard surfing, mixing rail-to-rail lines and classic hang-ten moves to leave Chelsea needing a combination of scores (16.05 vs. 9.5).
