Day two of the Opening was formed by the athletic highlight of the weekend. 6000,- Euro overall prize money where put out there to be won at KTO Pro Contest. On qualification day 2 of the 2014 VÖLKL WORLD ROOKIE FINALS, it was the Rookies’ time to shine. 56 boys and girls up to 18 years competed for their entrances to the big finals which will take place tomorrow. The twelve Rookie boys with the highest scores of today will then fight for the title of the male World Rookie Champion 2014.

The 9th WSF World Rookie Fest in Livigno - 2 perfectly shaped slopestyle course welcomed the finals in which riders had three runs to determine the winner, the best one counted. The riding level from the rookies of this edition was impressively and proved again that the future of snowboarding is in good hands.
