Absinthe Films' now legendary European tour will hit 21 cities bringing the season's sickest shredding to fans across the continent. The DC European Skate Team embarked on another filming mission in Europe. This time it was the South of France. Josef Jatta, Javier Paredes, Antony Lopez, Manuel Margreitter and Michael Sommer from the European team and Seb Simon from the French team ripped the streets of France filming for our next video project. One demo and one signing where also in place. Good wine, good food, good spots and lots of friends made this tour an excellent one.

Highlights Final Day

Tim Boal (Anglet, FRA) won the 2011 Protest Vendee Pro at La Sauzaie defeating French Polynesian Alain Riou (Tahiti, PYF) in an exciting final. With exceptional waves on offer and great levels of surfing displayed, it was a great final day, giving Boal his second Protest Vendee Pro crown in four years. Making the Semifinals for a strong return to competition, Marlon Lipke (Algarve, DEU) left a strong impression netting his best ASP result in a year.
