As we do every year the Dakine crew headed up to Mt. Baker for the Legendary Banked Slalom. This time around we brought our friends from Europe to experience the great event and it turned out to be a great weekend.

It was ten years back when Elias was in Saas Fee with his family and he got to learn the back flip and got soo much into snowboarding he could not stop it anymore. I really like all the different directions in freestyle Snowboarding, but there's one I love even more than anything else... Riding Natural terrain. Being out there in the Backcountry, thinking of your own line, take off and landing. It's all just imagination up until you finally try it and draw your line into the untouched field. This gives me the best feeling ever! For that reason I wanted to show you this little clip of natural hits that I did last year. Enjoy ;-)

Elias was on fire the whole day and stomped every single tricks during the training, then in quali he blew it for some reason. Once cross over time arrived he was ON again and pleased the crowd with upside tricks and a perfect bs 1080° double cork helped him to get the corwd support and win the title of cross over king of Berlin.
